Introduction
Concurso de Elegancia Costa del Sol 2025 is a prestigious automotive and lifestyle event held annually in Marbella, Spain. The event brings together collectors, connoisseurs, and brands to celebrate elegance, innovation, and automotive heritage.
In October 2025, Payme Swiss was selected as the exclusive infrastructure and wearable solutions partner. The objective was to provide a fully branded, contactless experience for VIP guests and streamline the event’s operational workflows.
The Challenge
The event organizers sought to enhance the guest experience while maintaining the premium and exclusive character of the event. Their goals included:
- Enabling secure and fast guest access to VIP zones and other areas.
- Consolidating access, and dynamic communication tools into a single seamless system.
- Integrating digital sponsor activations into the physical guest journey.
- Preserving a premium aesthetic aligned with the event’s brand positioning.
- Ensuring operational efficiency with real-time monitoring capabilities.


Features
Payme Swiss delivered a fully white-label solution covering project management, API integration, wearable manufacturing, and on-site enablement.
Key elements of the solution included:
- Premium NFC-enabled wearables: sustainable wooden bracelets, fully branded for the event and its sponsors.
- Tap-to-Phone Landing Pages: direct access to schedules, event history, sponsor content, and real-time updates, with no app installation required.
- Access Control: guests used wearables for secure entry to VIP zones through a dedicated app with guest lists provided to the security personnel.
- Personalized Greetings: each tap triggered a tailored welcome message in the name of the client, reinforcing the event’s exclusivity.

Results
The implementation of the Payme Swiss solution delivered measurable operational and experiential benefits. More than 400 NFC wearables were distributed to VIP guests, enabling seamless access and experience throughout the event. The check-in process became significantly faster, with reduced queues and improved on-site flow, ensuring a smooth and elevated guest experience.
Sponsors benefited from enhanced visibility and engagement through strategically integrated digital touchpoints embedded in the wearable technology. For organizers, payments, access, and engagement were managed through a single implementation, allowing for efficient real-time monitoring and control. The use of premium, sustainable materials further reinforced the event’s visual identity and elevated its positioning as a luxury automotive and lifestyle experience.
